The Maass Family Farm is an active family farm. The Maass' are well known for their bison operation. They started out raising bison in 1986 when they purchased 6 animals from Colorado. Today, they are better known as the Wisconsin Bison Company, and the herd has grown to over 150 animals. The Wisconsin Bison Company sells, inspected bison meat, tanned and raw hides, skulls, leather, and breeding stock.
Besides the bison, the Maass' also farm 1,200 acres, and provide custom large square baling, combing, and field tiling.
The farm is located 1.5 miles east of Seymour on Hwy 54. The farm is located near the intersection of Hwy 54 & Hwy 55.
From Green Bay: Take Hwy 54 West, 15 miles until you see the buffalo.
From Appleton & Fox Cities: Take Hwy 41 to Hwy 55 North (Kaukauna exit) 18 miles.
